[wipes cheeto dust off onto cargo shorts] so if you support gender equality does that mean it’s ok to hit women now?
Some people think that Apple products are overpriced and I agree to an extent, but I also like to think I’m also for peace of mind, corny as that sounds. My first desktop was a Dell, and I had it for less than two years before it was so slow that it was unusable. I only used it to browse the Internet and play on game sites, and download music. I guess it couldn’t handle ALL that work and started to break down. I was always conscious of what sites I went on, Googling if they were safe or not, but it didn’t matter because I’m sure by the end, it had some sort of virus. In its last few months, it was constantly updating/configuring for hours on end and once even for days. I was frustrated and miserable (as miserable as a 12 year old with computer problems could be anyway).
My parents heard from their coworkers that Apple computers were better, and not being computer people, just took their word for it and we’ve never looked back since. I’ve had my iMac for five years now, do way more things on it, and never worry.
Since then, I’ve owned a few PC laptops (namely HP and Toshiba) but I got tired with how unresponsive Windows was after a few months so I ended up giving them away.
And I also think the ergonomics and aesthetics of Macs are far better.
All I’m saying is that there are reasons people like Macs and it’s not just because they’re shiny and “trendy.”
And to the person who’s going to say how Apple restricts customization… stop acting like the majority of people with PC’s customize beyond changing their wallpapers.
